Position Title: Social Media Strategist

Estimated Commitment: 3–5 hours per week, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and meetings
Overview
The Social Media Strategist plays a vital role in advancing the mission of TPUSA Faith at Tarrant County by creating, posting, and managing content that amplifies our message of faith, freedom, and discipleship. This role focuses on cultivating an online presence that both inspires and informs — helping believers connect digitally, engage locally, and grow spiritually. Every post, comment, and share exists to glorify Christ, unify the Church, and mobilize believers to stand boldly for biblical truth. This is a volunteer role. It requires a 12-month commitment and a willingness to serve faithfully, creatively, and with excellence for the glory of God.
Purpose of the Role
The Social Media Strategist manages the day-to-day content creation and online engagement for TPUSA Faith at Tarrant County’s social platforms. Working under the guidance of the Director of Communications, this role ensures consistent messaging, brand alignment, and gospel-centered communication across all digital platforms. The strategist helps transform social media from a communication tool into a discipleship and mobilization platform — connecting people to local Faith Groups, events, and opportunities to grow in both faith and freedom.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule across all approved social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.) in alignment with TPUSA Faith branding and national guidelines.
Create, edit, and publish high-quality visual and written content that supports the mission, events, and initiatives of TPUSA Faith at Tarrant County.
Engage daily with followers — responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a way that reflects biblical character and truth with grace.
Collaborate with the Director of Communications to ensure all messaging aligns with organizational tone, branding, and 501(c)(3) standards.
Coordinate with Regional Hub Leaders to highlight testimonies, promote faith group gatherings, and celebrate local impact stories.
Track engagement metrics and provide monthly performance updates to the Communications Team.
Work with the design team or use approved TPUSA Faith graphics and templates to ensure visual consistency across all platforms.
Assist in promoting countywide events, campaigns, and initiatives through organic and strategic social media outreach.
Stay informed about TPUSA Faith national campaigns and incorporate relevant themes and graphics into local content planning.
Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and integrity in handling internal communications and public messaging.
Volunteer Commitment & Conduct
This is a volunteer position requiring a weekly commitment of 3–5 hours over a 12-month term to ensure continuity and unity in ministry operations.
No salary or financial benefit is provided; reimbursement may be approved for ministry-related expenses (e.g., software, event media, supplies).
Members of the Communications Team serve under the following commitments:
To serve faithfully, humbly, and with integrity, recognizing digital influence as ministry, not self-promotion.
To uphold the TPUSA Faith Code of Conduct and comply with all 501(c)(3) nonpartisan standards.

Qualifications
A committed follower of Jesus Christ, actively involved in a local, Bible-believing church.
Full affirmation of TPUSA Faith’s Statement of Faith
Demonstrates humility and accountability
Skilled in social media platforms, analytics, and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
Strong writing and editing skills; able to communicate truth with clarity and grace.
Organized, responsive, and consistent in maintaining schedules and engagement.
Familiarity with digital evangelism, community building, and creative storytelling is preferred.
