Purpose of the Role

To oversee, maintain, and secure the digital systems that support TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County’s ministry operations — including communications, file management, website, and data integrity. • Maintain and update the TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County website, coordinating with Communications for content and event updates.

  • Support setup and management of other SaaS platforms (event management tools, CRM, newsletter, or donor systems).

  • Establish and document basic IT governance policies, including password management, file naming conventions, and access controls.

  • Implement and monitor data protection and information security best practices (MFA, access logs, backup policies, etc.).

  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications to integrate technology for event registration, volunteer management, and newsletter signups.

  • Assist in troubleshooting basic user access issues or software needs for leadership and volunteers.

  • Maintain an inventory of technology systems, licenses, and access permissions.

  • Research and recommend new software tools or solutions that align with ministry growth goals and budget stewardship.

  • Work with leadership to ensure information security governance, compliance, and ethical digital operations in alignment with biblical stewardship and TPUSA Faith’s standards.

Volunteer Commitment & Conduct

This is a volunteer leadership role requiring a 12-month commitment.

  • No salary or financial compensation is provided; approved ministry-related expenses may be reimbursed.

  • The IT & Systems Coordinator agrees to:

    • Serve faithfully and diligently, understanding that technology is a tool for ministry, not an end in itself.

    • Uphold confidentiality and data integrity, protecting sensitive ministry information.

    • Model humility, professionalism, and a heart of service in all interactions.

    • Comply with TPUSA Faith’s Code of Conduct and all information security guidelines.

Qualifications
  • A professing believer in Jesus Christ, active in a local, Bible-believing church.

  • Experience with Google Workspace administration, website content management, or IT systems oversight.

  • Basic understanding of information security, cloud systems, and data governance best practices.

  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Able to explain technology clearly to non-technical users.

  • Committed to confidentiality and ethical use of technology.

Leadership Expectations

All volunteer leaders of TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County are expected to:

  • Lead with servant-hearted humility, recognizing that technology serves people, not the other way around.

  • Ensure all systems are used ethically, efficiently, and securely in service to the gospel.

  • Stay faithful in prayer and discernment, remembering that digital stewardship is still spiritual leadership.

  • Collaborate with other departments to keep operations smooth, unified, and focused on mission.

“Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?” — Luke 12:42 (ESV)

  • I commit to serving for a 12-month term with excellence, humility, and submission to God’s Word.
