Graphic Designer (Volunteer Staff Position)

Reports To: Director of Communications
Role Type: Volunteer Staff (12-Month Commitment)
Estimated Commitment: 6–10 hours per month, depending on event and content calendar
Overview
The Graphic Designer serves as the creative storyteller for TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County, using visual design to communicate truth, inspire engagement, and strengthen brand consistency across all platforms. This volunteer staff role supports the Communications Team by producing digital and print materials for events, social media, newsletters, and campaigns. The designer ensures that every piece of content reflects both the excellence of God’s Kingdom and the distinct voice of TPUSA Faith. This position is ideal for a creative believer who wants to use their design skills to advance the gospel, strengthen the local Church, and help mobilize the faith and freedom movement across Tarrant County.
Purpose of the Role
To provide consistent, high-quality design that supports TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County’s mission to equip believers, strengthen churches, and engage culture biblically. The Graphic Designer helps shape how the ministry communicates visually to ensure clarity, professionalism, and kingdom impact.
Core Responsibilities
Design digital and print assets including flyers, social media graphics, slide decks, and event materials.
Maintain brand consistency across all communication platforms.
Collaborate with the Director of Communications on creative campaigns and messaging.
Support the Director of Events & Outreach by creating promotional materials for Freedom Nights, Faith Groups, and community events.
Edit or format graphics for donor materials and newsletters as needed.
Assist in managing visual archives for photos, logos, and design templates.
Stay updated on creative trends to ensure designs remain current and engaging.
Volunteer Commitment & Conduct
12-month volunteer staff role (renewable annually).
Commitment: 6–10 hours per month, depending on project needs.
The Graphic Designer agrees to:
Serve with creativity, humility, and excellence, using design as ministry.
Uphold the TPUSA Faith Code of Conduct and represent the ministry professionally.
Collaborate with team members and respond promptly to design requests.
Qualifications
A professing believer in Jesus Christ, active in a local, Bible-believing church.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design tools.
Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
Organized, responsive, and dependable in meeting deadlines.
Experience designing for churches or nonprofits preferred.
