Volunteer Role Description
Position Title: Freedom Advocate
Department/Team: Outreach & Engagement
Reports To: Director of Outreach & Events
Role Type: Volunteer (Flexible Commitment – Approx. 1–5 hours per month)
Overview
Freedom Advocates are passionate volunteers who help spread the word, promote events, and share the mission of TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County in their communities and online. They are the relational connectors who help the message of faith and freedom move from church gatherings into neighborhoods, workplaces, and digital spaces.
This team fuels the movement by multiplying awareness, building excitement, and inviting others to get involved. Every Freedom Advocate serves as a messenger of both truth and hope — helping people encounter the gospel and engage boldly in their faith.
Purpose of the Role
To help expand the reach and visibility of TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County by inviting others, promoting upcoming events, and sharing the ministry’s mission within personal, church, and social networks. Freedom Advocates play a vital role in keeping momentum alive between gatherings and ensuring the message of faith and freedom continues to spread across the county.
Core Responsibilities
Share and promote TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County events on social media and within local networks.
Personally invite friends, family, and church members to Freedom Nights, Faith Groups, and interest meetings.
Distribute flyers, handouts, or digital resources provided by the Communications Team.
Help build excitement and awareness before major events or campaigns.
Represent TPUSA Faith positively in online spaces, conversations, and local communities.
Encourage others to follow TPUSA Faith – Tarrant County and stay connected.
Pray for the ministry’s outreach and the people you invite — believing that God will use each interaction for His glory.
Volunteer Commitment & Conduct
Flexible commitment: typically 2–5 hours per month.
No mandatory meetings; communication provided through group chat, text, or email updates.
Freedom Advocates agree to:
Represent TPUSA Faith with humility, joy, and excellence.
Uphold the TPUSA Faith Code of Conduct and maintain nonpartisan standards.
Live as examples of faith and integrity, reflecting Christ in both online and personal interactions.
Qualifications
A professing believer in Jesus Christ, active in a local, Bible-believing church.
Outgoing, friendly, and passionate about helping others engage with TPUSA Faith.
Comfortable sharing information both in person and online.
Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to the mission of uniting faith and freedom.
No prior experience required — just a willing heart and a desire to serve.
Spiritual Expectations
Freedom Advocates are expected to:
Approach outreach as ministry, not marketing.
Walk in love, humility, and boldness when representing TPUSA Faith.
Pray for divine appointments and for God to use their influence to advance His Kingdom.
